The hotel was not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms were clean, decently furnished, and a decent size. The beds were very comfortable, too.
By and large, I opine that overall condition and quality of services in this inn were apparently better than what I expected after having read the review comments of most of previous lodgers here. My better half likes this inn very much and even considers that the room and the surrounding environment outside are more homely and comfortable when compared to the other two more expensive 3 to 4-star tourist hotels we had stayed near Disneyland and LAX before coming over here. The counter staff were generally helpful, especially the young lady on duty on the days we checked in and out. She was very nice and friendly, though she refused to give us any 'senior discount' as advertised on their website on the ground that our booking rate was the cheapest of their quotations.
Nice room -- great air conditioning! It was so hot outside that we considered staying in the room
all day!
Great location to USC! Easy walking distance to the campus. We ate at USC and University Village and took DASH downtown to Little Tokyo and Chinatown. Very convenient!
