The room was very nice. I was concerned about the traffic on PCH but our room was very quiet. It was easy to get to and a very good location. The breakfast in the cafe was good. The staff was very personable. The only compliant I would have is about the towels, not very absorbant and the cover was not very soft to the touch. I would definitely stay here again.

I stay at this specific hotel frequently for business travel. It is basically no frills. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable; the staff is always courteous and helpful. It is within walking distance of some restaurants, but really you need to drive to find most options you would want. It does tend to get loud at times (though I ignore it); the beach is 'nearby', about 4-5 blocks away. It does offer a free internet connection, which for my business travel purposes is really all I need. There is no free breakfast provided, though there is a restaurant onsite (which I've never eaten at). I've probably stayed in this hotel 50+ nights, and I can't say I've ever had any problems; then again, it's just a comfortable room to sleep and do some work in.

The staff was available during these odd hours when we inadvertently misplaced our hotel key, vending machine not having specific items, requesting additional roll-away beds and bedding and towels.

Our family trip was related to a family member being in a nearby hospital for a 5-day stay. Because of the circumstances, we came and went from our hotel at all hours of the night (12:30 a.m., 2:00 a.m., 5:00 a.m.). The staff was available during these odd hours when we inadvertently misplaced our hotel key, vending machine not having specific items, requesting additional roll-away beds and bedding and towels. Also, hotel advertised "No Smoking" and it really was a smoke free environment. For health reasons, this was detrimental to one particular family member.
