First of all. The people who work at this place will lie right to your face.<br><br>Second of all, the cleanliness of the facility alone was enough to give it a 1 rating. Horrible. Cockroaches, ants, crickets, etc.<br><br>But the most egregious act came when they let you check out and then charge your credit card for extra days at a higher rate and when you call to ask them about it they claim that you took towels. Which was a complete lie. No one took any towels. They essentially charged almost $200 for what they claimed were 4 missing towels. Ridiculous. And refused to budge or accept any form of payment in return.<br><br>They basically try to take advantage of the people who they knew came into town to see the concerts at the Race Park. They find out that is what you were there for and charged the amounts later figuring that you wouldn&#39;t catch it until much later when your credit card bill statement comes in.<br><br>Thank goodness American Express will get you your money back but I&#39;m not sure about other credit cards. You may not be so lucky. And if you count on it like your ATM/Debit card you could get really screwed by them.<br><br>When I called the Sam Houston Race Park about it they said they had dozens of complaints from people who said the same thing. Of course they have no direct affiliation with them, but said that is why they will not recommend them even though they are close by because they do not want their customers to be taken advantage of either.<br><br>Fair warning to everybody. Beware.
