Summerland Suites - Fort Lauderdale, USA 

I recently stayed here for 4 nights while attending a conference. I had actually made a reservation to stay at one of their sister properties, Napoli Belmar, but upon arriving, I was told she wanted to give me a bigger, better room. It was only $5 more a night than I expected to pay so I was fine with it. The room was very clean but I would have liked to have a bathtub. Very close, about 2 blocks, from the beach. My gripe would be that the bed was on casters on tile so it would tend to roll & move as I shifted. Also, the A/C was just a wall unit in the bedroom so it took a little while to get the other room cool on a warm day. The staff was very friendly when I needed something. It is a bit off the beaten path in what looks like a residential neighborhood. The grounds were nice and the pools looked clean. I give it an "above average" rating for the price per night ($75). Be prepared for about a 15 minute walk to get to restaurants & shops.

Unser Aufenthalt wurde uns sehr angenehm gemacht, wann immer wir Hilfe, Infos oder Unterstützung benötigten, war die Hotelmanagerin zur Stelle. Das Zimmer war einfach eingerichtet, aber sauber. Die Außenanlage des Motels war ansprechend mit 3 Pools und Grillmöglichkeiten (Gas und Kohle). Das Motel ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Michael Wagner, Deutschland
