We found the check in staff very friendly, warm and welcoming. We had no problems with the room, it suited our needs of a place that was low on price, great location to Chicago and most of all the diner attached to the complex was fantastic.. Read review

If you are looking for a clean place with good location to downtown, than this is the place. You can tell that this is an old hotel but the rooms( and bathrooms) were very clean and well kept. The staff were very helpful with directions and such.. Read review

The hotel was fine, as others had mentioned, clean, cheap and decent location. You might be better off at one of the inside rooms - closer to the hotel check-in desk. We were streetside - farther away - and their was also music from another club/business/whatever that we could hear in our room until 2 a.. Read review
