My Husband and I loved the Swissotel. We were pleasantly surprised when we were offered an upgrade to a Lakeview room. Beautiful sights overlooking Navy Pier and chicago river.

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. With the exception of one very rude conceirge, everything went very well. We arrived well before the check-in time and they let us check-in without extra charge.Our room was comfortable and clean, the view spectacular, the convenience to so many sights and nice places to eat make this an ideal hotel. Be careful, don&#39;t open the minibar door; there will be an automatic fee. The front desk folks are very polite and will remove the fee. I only wish there was complimentary hi-fi and limited but free access to the pool and fitness area.

Good place to step into the center of Chicago. Easy access to new park, museums and shopping.

Family trip made special

We had a wonderful time in Chicago. We were warmly welcomed. When I told Charmaine our little one was excited to see the aquarium, she got a gift pack for my daughter. The room was clean and gorgeous. The beds are soooo comfy. Great location in the heart of the city. Pricey hotel worth a look. Check the travel sites. Great food at a major premium. Houlihan&#39;s around the corner is a better bet. Pick up aquarium tickets from concierge. We bought at the hotel &amp; were able to walk right into the aquarium. Shedd closed early that day &amp; the line was way, way out the door. With a 4 yr old &amp; a baby, there&#39;s no way we would have ben able to wait. Hotel is centrally located, so it&#39;s easy to come and go throughout the day. Critical if you&#39;re traveling with little people!<br> This is a hotel that holds themselves to a very high standard. We had some very minor problems, e.g. broken soap holder, not enough toiletries for 4 people, a travel crib, not a regular crib the 1st night. Problems were immediately fixed. When appraised of problems, staff (Millerod) go way above &amp; beyond. We also left some items. (First time traveling with new baby.) Debbie and Christine in housekeeping shipped them to us the next business day. A great hotel with great staff who are very proud of their well-deserved reputation.
