Our rooms (along with many others) were still not ready by 8pm. We pre-checked in @ 11am and were able to check into 1 room......came back at 8pm...the other two rooms were not clean. We were a large group of women in town for a celebration. Since we couldn't check into the other rooms, we were not able to get ready and thereby missed our dinner reservations. The hotel staff was not helpful at all. They offered 2 free drinks---we had 10 women in our party. The doormen were very nice. The front desk were polite but not helpful at all. Two of our group decided not to stay. We decided to return a room---seriously, people were waiting in the lobby to check in for hours----thinking that it would help other travelers. We hadn't even entered the 3rd room and felt we were helping the hotel out. They didn't charge us for the room----but, also did not offer any type of compensation to the woman who arranged these rooms in FEBRUARY. I asked for free breakfast for 8. They were not able to do anything. I have stayed many places and have never had a hotel act as if it were normal to not be able to check in until after 8pm. And to offer nothing to the woman who paid in advance and booked in advance-----terrible customer service. Many guests were sent to other hotels (including a pregnant woman who was going to have to switch hotels twice in one vacation). Many were still sitting in the lobby when we finally went out for dinner. Beautiful view and bathroom----terrible service and overall management.

We booked directly with the hotel reservations when the email came in the price was higher than quoted on the phone. Contacted the hotel reservations was closed dealt with the 800 number who at first was unable to help asked to cancel my stay and all sudden she could help. Fixed the price assured me the room woudl be double beds. Arrived at the hotel front desk was not very helpful went to the room and one king bed not thedoubles. Had to move rooms and floors. Got to the new room which in my opinion was small many other hotels are larger. Note beware of type of room reserved to what you get. We were to be in a premier room but they do not have double beds paid for one did not recieve one. Went to use the pool our son who is 16 had to come down after us he arrived to the pool was told to leave due to no shoes on. He was in a walking cast and did not have a pair of shoes with him. The lady at the desk would not allow him to inform us of this left the floor to sit in the hallway while we swam for 2 hours. A family who walked in with me and my children were told shoes next time and allowed in. Lady checking you in for the pool is non friendly and very unhelpful. Room key did not work had to wait to be let back in our room which took a good amount of time. Overall would stay elsewhrere downtown to many other properties who offer nicer staff assistance, quality for the price. Gift shop personal are very helpful and nice if you need to enter there.
