It was horrible! Our room smelled like feet and it was dirty. I could see the room costing more like a $* room instead of a $* room!! And that was the second room we had looked into because the first one someone had been living in and it was undiscribaley disgusting so we went back to the desk and he gave us a different room not as bad but wouldn't advise anyone to stay there!!! But the people who worked there were really , really nice, go figure!

The worst hotel experience ever! ..A lot of loud noise from the next door room that the hotel says was empty! Back entrance door slamming every half hour, shaking our room . When we called the front desk they refused to come to our room to check it out. -SAID.. When you come to a public place you should expect noise! This was at 1:30 AM. We then requested a different handicaped room.We were called abussive names and placed in a non handicaped room with no refrigerator/microwave ...said we could use the 1st room for showers. With no heip, we drug our stuff upstairs. When we got to the new room, we were locked out. we went back down and asked for him to open the door. He opened it and said he woul bring us another key.I was experiencing chest pain and needed to eat with my medication, so I asked to get my food from the 1st room. With a bizzar reaction, he refused. I went back upstairs to get my husband who is handicaped from a stroke. He limped downstairs and requested my food from the room that we were told we still had acsess to. The clerk then abusively name called and gave him the key, calling the police as my husband got the food. They advised us to get some sleep and call management in the morning. The clerk said that he wouldn't let us stay nor give us a refund. The police told him that we would and asked if we wanted them to walk us to our room. they then found us still locked out and got us the right key! After they left we saw men leaving through the back door. 2:00am doors around our room start to slam! We didn't sleep! !

The third floor smelled like cat urine. The bedding smelled like smoke, and we were in a non-smoking room. My brother slipped on the ice outside the front door and sprained his ankle. When we tried to get ice out of the ice machine, we were able to find about a cup worth of ice as none of the ice machines worked very well. The vending machines did not work. The side entrance was supposed to be locked at all times, and we were to use our room key to gain access. I'm sure the card reader worked, but the door never shut tight, thus it was not secure. We found what appeared to be kitty litter on the floor of our room. We made reservations at another hotel the next day, and after we explained what we experienced at the Days Inn, the other hotel informed us that the Days Inn did not have a good reputation.
