We stayed overnite for our kids to go swimming, and had a coupon. The pool's chlorine was so strong, one of the kids almost had to go to the emergency room. Her eyes were swollen, red and itchy. We actually had to leave to go buy Benadryl for her. All of our swimsuits (4) became discolored from the chlorine. My daughter's actually turned from blue to white!! One of the other girls turned from hot pink to pale purple!! When we notified the front desk attendant, she said the chemicals were controlled by a computer and she had no way of adjusting it. We ended up only spending about 30 minutes in the pool, and we had planned on letting the kids swim for the night, part of the reason we stayed there.
Very disappointing.
The room was good, no toiletries and no movie channels.

Had to change rooms twice, due to a late booking on my part on a buisness trip.

Had a conf. for a normal room the first + last nights, and a whirlpool suite the middle night. Group discount for the first two nites, and the middle one was full price.

Go to check in the second time, and got to my room - was a normal suite. Went to the front desk, and got a short reply of "well, we're full so we can't do anything" (What good is a reservation then?) I had to ask to apply my discount (About $50) to the new room, they did not do it automatically. The room change wasn't that big of a deal (although I wouldn't mind a jacuzzi, I'd rather have the $$$) but that kind of thing may be a huge deal for a couple. The fact that they didn't apply my group discount to the new room, and switched me without telling me (or even informing me) bothered me.

Last nites were fine as far as billing.

Rooms were pretty clean, althought the first night I didn't have any soap or shampoo - at least i brought my own.

Pool/Hot Tub were always empty, but the hot tub was pretty gross with some spots of brown foam. Pool was clean, but somehow had alot of sand on the bottom.

Internet didn't work for a few hours the first night, but worked fine (albeit a little slow) the rest of the week. NO wireless, so bring your travel WAP's or network cables.

TV's are normal TV's, not the lodgenet like everywhere else - so you can also bring a little game system to kill the time.

Breakfast was OK... Waffles are good, but there was only one other hot dish per day, and hopefully you liked it.
