From O'Hare International Airport
Take I-190 E out of terminal. Follow signs for I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. The hotel entrance is one-and-a-half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
Public Transportation from O'Hare
You will need to purchase a CTA transit card from the machines at the station which require exact change (no credit cards). From the baggage claim area, follow signs for ‘Train to the City.’ Take the Blue Line Train to downtown. We recommend you exist the train at the Clark and Lake stop. When you depart the station, you will be on Lake Street. We suggest at Lake Street, you take a short 5 min. taxi to the Conrad Chicago. Or you could continue past Clark and Lake and transfer at Jackson to the Red Line train heading north (Direction of “HOWARD”). You will be required to walk a good distance for the transfer and will need to carry your bags up a several flights of stairs. Once on the Red Line, you will continue to the Grand stop. When you depart the Grand station, you will be at the intersection of Grand and State. Walk 2 blocks East on Grand (against the flow of traffic is East) and turn right at Rush Street. Once on Rush, the Conrad Chicago will be ½ block on your left side
From Midway Airport
Cicero Avenue northbound to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Take I-55 to I-90 / 94 West. Follow I-90 / 94 West to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. The hotel entrance is one-and-a-half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
Public Transportation from Midway Airport
You will need to buy a ticket from the machines at the station and they require exact change (no credit cards). Take the Orange Line Train to downtown. We recommend that you exist the train at the State and Lake stop and take a short 5 minute taxi to the Conrad Chicago located at 521 North Rush Street, between Grand Street and Illinois Street. However, if you would prefer, you could exist at the Roosevelt stop, transferring to the Red Line Train heading north. Once on the Red Line, you will continue to the Grand stop. When you depart the Grand station, you will be situated at the intersection of Grand and State. Walk 2 blocks East on Grand (against the flow of traffic is East) and turn right at Rush Street. Once on Rush, the Conrad Chicago (521 North Rush Street) will be ½ block on your left side.
From the North / Northwest
I-94 (Eden's Expressway) or I-90 East (Kennedy Expressway) to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Follow I-90 / 94 East to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. The hotel entrance is one-and-a-half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
From the West
I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-90 / 94 West. Follow I-90 / 94 West to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. The hotel entrance is one-and-a-half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
From the South
I-57 North to I-90 / 94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow I-90 / 94 West to the Ohio Street exit (50B). Ohio Street is a one-way street going east. Continue going east on Ohio. Turn right on Rush Street and pass Grand Avenue. The hotel entrance is one-and-a-half blocks down on the left, between Grand Avenue and Illinois Street.
From the Southwest
