My wife, one year old daughter and I arrived at about 11 pm. We were given the key to a room already occupied by someone else and found out when the key wouldn't work. The night clerk then transfered us to different room, only to find it hadn't been cleaned (toilet not flushed, tub wet, towels still wet and hanging on the bathroom door or left on the floor). Finally moved to a cleaner room. Older property, so carpets are tacky, chain on door missing, etc. Breakfast was so-so: waffles had a sour taste, like the batter had been left out too long. OK for a one night stay, but wouldn't return.

"Housekeeping refused to service my room. They never cleaned my room once during the entire stay. When I asked the front desk clerk about this, there was a verbal confrontation which led to him hanging up in my face and not taking anymore calls from me. I had to wash out the bathtub myself during my stay."

This is one of my favorite hotels in the S. Suburbs!! It is usually clean, quiet and I have yet to have a problem they did not solve! I love the breakfast in the morning and the speedy internet connection!
