Do NOT plan your wedding here. I picked the hotel because I liked the catering manager. He quit 3 months before my wedding and everything went down the toliet!!! They overbooked the hotel with 4 different events not including my wedding. They closed the resturant on a Saturday for one of the events. The hotel manager lied to my parents about a shuttle, and they wouldn't let us check into our hotel room 5 minutes early even though we asked for early check in when we made our reservations and were rude to all of my family. I will never do business with them again and hope all stay away from this horrible hotel

Oh god, this hotel was horrendous in so many ways. I didn't stay here (checked TripAdvisor prior to booking & see my review of the Marriott across the street), but the most of the wedding party and 20-something guests of the wedding we attended did. I visited throughout the duration of our stay and went to the "afterparty" at this hotel.
First, the hotel itself is godawful. Old. Shabby (the lobby floor is chipping away in largish chunks, for heaven's sake) . Stinky. Dirty. Cramped rooms. Right next to the highway.
Second, the staff at the hotel were outrageous. Outrageously rude. The reason why the wedding party decided to stay at this hotel in the first place is that there was a bar open until 2am for post-wedding hanging out. The bride and groom and their respective families had discussed having the afterparty at the hotel and were assured that this hotel was "a great place to host the afterparty" and "would leave the bar open late to accomodate us." Uh huh. A group of about 20 people, including both sets of parents, arrived back at the hotel after the wedding at aprox 1:20am. At 1:35, the bar matron called last call. Even though the hotel (supposedly) knew we were coming in. By 1:52am, with the wedding party still milling about, socializing and enjoying our drinks, the COPS ARRIVED TO THROW EVERYONE OUT OF THE BAR. Yes, the bar matron called the cops on a group of wedding revellers, including the parents(!!), all of whom I can assure you were in no way out of control. It was absolutely shocking and in extremely bad form.
Avoid this hell hole at all costs.
