"Fabulous experience at the Omni Parker House"

I was thoroughly pleased with my stay at the Omni Parker House during my November 2006 visit. My room (#1426 @ $185/night) was a perfect size for me, beautifully appointed, and exceedingly comfortable. According to the hotel floorplan, some rooms were smaller (I probably wouldn't have enjoed that as much) and some were larger. I had a queen bed and plenty of room to move around. I joined Select Guest before my arrival, and received morning coffee, juice, and newspaper, and also evening turndown service (and chocolates!). The Select Guest suprised (eucalyptus bath salts) was lovely. I was impressed by all staff of the Omni Parker House whom I came in contact with, for their professionalism and graciousness. I will definately book future hotel rooms with Omni, and will happily recommend Omni and the Boston Omni Parker House to my colleagues.

I greatly enjoyed this hotel! The staff was attentitive and helpful. My only complaint, which isn't horrible, was that the rooms were on the small side. More than anything else, it was the size of the bathroom that was frustrating. No counter space! But it was an elegant hotel, very clean and upscale. I imagine that it was small because of the age of the hotel.

Home Away From Home-Great Location!

We arrived weary from the coast to coast flight and were greeted with a cheery, efficient check in. We were allowed to check in early since our room was ready. The hotel's great central location made it easy for friends to join us at a local restaurant (2 blocks away)for a great meal.(Public transportation & public parking garage is ~2 blocks away). We really appreciated the very comfortable bed and comforter. You feel like you are at home, only being pampered a bit! We are very particular about the importance of having a good bed so you can rest, and at the Omni Parker you can always be assured that will be. This is our 4th stay here - the last time was 2 years ago. They have added a business center to print your boarding pass, & have an exercise area downstairs. They continue to give 1st class service at a good value for the price. We'll be back next year!

Old school, but great location

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The restaurant has excellent martinis! The area was a bit noisy early in the am and the rooms were very small, but adequate for our needs.
