Location is great but rooms are small and cheap looking.

It was a nice hotel in a great location. Bed was nice and big for us it has an ipod hook up/alarm clock. We walked around downtown because we parked our car in a garage that cost us a pretty penny. Then we got to the hotel and had to walk to another restaurant because they only had a bar near the hotel. The room was very small and hot. The shower was very different from we've seen it was nice. Overall it was a great stay we would stay there again if it was cheaper.

I'd say that, overall, my wife and I enjoyed at the hotel, primarily for the proximity to see all the sites around Boston. From the hotel we could walk anywhere or take the subway (3 blocks away). On the negative side, rooms were small and the air conditioning of the room was terrible. They seriously need to upgrade in this area. Still, we'd give it more pluses than minuses.

Boston seems to be quite over-priced. But, the location and atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful.

My fianc? and I stayed here in August 2008. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. However, even that is somewhat of a negative. When we were walking home late in the evening, it seemed pretty seedy in some parts around the hotel. Okay, that was the good...trust me when I say the pictures online are 100% misleading. It looked like a really cute boutique hotel and we were very excited to stay there. When we checked in, the staff was very rude. Once we got to our floor, there was an "interesting" smell in the hallway. And the room itself was a glorified cubicle. Not to mention the fact that it was dark, dirty, and smelly. In addition, there was a used toilet roll on the dispenser in the bathroom with about 2 squares left on it. We wanted to check-out immediately. However, because of a convention in town, there were no hotels left. So we were stuck there for at least a night. The following day, the cleaning service threw out some of our clothes we left in a bag (and it was not near a trash can). we barely got an apology. Long story short, do NOT stay here!!!
