Econo hole

Room was horrible - clock, fridge, stove all did not work. Tub was moldy. Toilet backed up - never worked properly. Room as refirbed over 40 years ago at the least. SMELLED. Complaits just got me another room just as bad. We gave up. Managemnt was demaning, rude, and simply did not care. It was pretty empty ther and now I know why. Beds were a "U" shape and like sleeping in a tea cup. Service was poor - we assume the cleaners stole a watch and ring. Manager was the most unfreindly person we met and yelled at us, our 10 year old son, and generally was a yahoo. Room smelled of 40 year old tobacco smoke and we had to dry clean all of our clothes to get it out. The ice was never cleared from the sidewalk and I fell on it several times - once twisting my anckle so bad it still hurts and prompts me to write this well after out stay. Do youself a favor - avoid this hole like the plauge. I refer to it as the "econo hole".

The sample shampoo bottles were crusty, the rooms smelled of mildew, there was no day room rate, amenities were not the same from room to room even though the rooms were the same price.

Made the Bates Motel look clean.

Yuk! I stayed here last year. I attended a wedding and it was the last place that had a room, should of been a clue. The room was horrible, dirty, cold, missing light bulbs, smelled like someone had been burning cigarettes for incense. Carpet was dirty. I found bobby pins on the floor. Worst place I have EVER stayed at.
