This was a stay for my girlfriends 30th Birthday and the hotel couldn't do enough to look after us. They even offered to let us spend one night in each of two rooms if we couldn't make our mind up. Just to let us experience the different themed rooms available. The excellent location is only two minutes from the seafront and five minutes from the main pier. There may be no parking at the hotel, but it is pretty easy to find a space in the square or on the seafront at reasonable rates. A wonderful breakfast is served in a light airy basement, and for a real treat make sure that you book a table in the restaurant for an evening meal. Alexander's Gastronomy serves absolutely superb food. The staff were not only friendly, but enthusiastic and knowledgeable. My girlfriend is Vegan, although I am not, and they went to incredible lengths to make sure that she suitable things for breakfast and also, because we booked in advance, made a special effort and put on an a la carte Vegan meal for her the evening we arrived. The quality, presentation and effort was fantastic, she has travelled widely around the world and said this was the best and most imaginative Vegan food she had ever eaten. We ate at Terre a Terre, a widely reknown vegetarian restaurant in Brighton the following evening and this couldn't beat the experience in Alexanders. The Chef has a tremendous pedigree and this is likely to become a real treasure in Brighton's restaurant scene. Get in while you can still book! Everyone made every attempt to make our stay truly special and I am sure she will remember it her entire life! It was a great relief to me as I was tasked with surprising her. A big thank you to everyone for their quick response to every question I put to them by email or phone; and for all their personal care and attention during our stay

I stayed in the Zen room at The Townhouse for one night when my boyfriend and I were in Brighton for a wedding. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and relaxing with great attention to detail. We arrived quite early on the day of check in and were allowed straight up to our room. We were also able to leave our bags after checking out whilst we enjoyed the Brighton sunshine! I can highly recommend The Townhouse in Brighton.
