I was staying at the home town Inn, the first time the gave me a room in the back of the hotel, asked the front desk if they would give me a room near the front and they did. I did ask for a change of room but the receptionist said they were all full because they were expecting to room people from Texas who were moving as a result of hurricane IKe, later on I asked some employees if they were room available to the front and they infromed me they were rooms available. I dont think I will be staying there again, room services is once per week, I had to wash my own towels ans bed linen in between.. Read review

just what my family needed Posted: Thu, Aug 13 2009

my family was in town for my daughter graduation so we had to be in town for a week, the front desk staff{ ashley & jalise} was very professional yes i would stay there again.
I'd advised anyone not to select this hotel. The rooms were gloomy, Carpet smelled and the police trolled the area twice while I was trying to check in. The receptionist, who also does the laundry locked the front door. I rang the doorbell and had to stand there looking like an idiot waiting for her. When she finally came to check me in, she did apologize, but by that time, I had already begin to think that I made a back choice. I only needed a room to sleep, but call me sudity, I couldn't sleep in the hotel room. I immediately began to itch when I entered the room, but once I saw the inside of the refrigerator and the bathroom, I knew for certain that I could not stay there.

My stay a nightmare. The room stank, no one answers the telephone after 10.00pm. Then the manager had the crazy gut to charge me for a day I never stayed in the hotel.
I definitely donot recommend this hotel for anyone.
