Sheraton Gateway Hotel Atlanta - Atlanta, USA 

Stayed on here on points after a long flight. Found hotel hard to locate but worthwhile when we got there. Nice lobby, room, club lounge. Nice straightforward food in the restaurant that evening with good service. Friendly staff

Room was nice, bathroom was too small to be functional for getting ready. No fridge in room.. Internet was $10/day extra if you want it in your room, but free in lobby. Of course every evening the elevator was jammed with people going back and forth to the lobby with their computers (including us), . . .we would have preferred to use it in our room like any other (much cheaper ) hotels, but refuse to pay $10 extra on a $150 room . . rediculous. Also, long line at the business center .. .only 1 desktop computer there, so as you can imagine, just busy all the time with people who didn't bring computer or don't want to hassle carrying theirs down every time. ALSO, parking is a hassle, this hotel charges you to park your car. .there is a gate and you have to pay daily, or hourly, or however long you park. Not easy for visitors. Ripoff. Pool was not maintained, we used it but it was a bit gross with lots of junk floating in it. The pool area was a total mess 3/4 of the times that we went down there, towels, bottles and glasses scattered around. The hallways to the guestrooms were also routinely left uncleaned, we would pass by the same room service trays for sometimes an entire day. I don't think there was one time that we went down the hall and it didn't have dishes laying there with some old food. For this we could have stayed a place for about half the price and been more comfortable.
