As others have said, the construction on the road near the hotel will screw your directions up. I recommend calling ahead to find out the best way there, because Google maps will have you going on roads that are closed for construction right now. Fortunately we were able to navigate around the blocks to eventually get to the hotel, but it was a pain in the butt.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. Our room (king with sleeper sofa) was small but also clean and comfortable. We were there on a Thursday night and did not have any complaints about noise, either from the halls or neighboring rooms. The linens are nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was average but clean with nice toiletries (Davies Gate).
The location is excellent. It's within walking distance to the Silver Skillet Diner (famous diner with great food) and is minutes from CNN Center, Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, etc.
Also a big plus: free parking! The other places we were considering, nearer to Centennial Olympic Park, all wanted to charge $15+ for parking.
Overall I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Atlanta.

I agree with the previous post as far as the traffic situation goes. The construction is a nightmare and has the road all messed up. It seemed like the whole town was under construction though so it really didn't bother us that much.
The hotel was nice, had a strange smell to it when you first walked in the doors though, maybe it was just me. It seemed like every part of the hotel had been updated but for some reason they stopped at the bathrooms. We were on the 8th floor and everytime we took a shower the tub felt like we were going to fall through to the 7th floor. The water in the tub and sink wouldn't drain. The tub was extremely small. None of these were dealbreakers but taking a shower was uncomfortable.
BEWARE the walls are paper thin. If you are a light sleeper i would reccomend asking for a room on the end. We could hear the people in the room next to ours TV all night long.
The staff was great, some seemed more knowledgeable than others about the surrounding area, the pool, whirlpool and fitness area seemed clean and well maintained.
We were unlucky in not having brought a computer and had to wait over an hour to use the ones in the lobby. They were excruciatingly slow and only one had flash player.
