I stayed at the Econo Lodge in Lithonia, GA for 6 days. I paid in advance for 7 days. There were a lot of things leading up to this complaint, but the ?straw that broke the camel?s back? was the hotels refusal to refund My last day of hotel stay which I did not use. I gave the management 3 business days to resolve my complaints, and have not heard from anyone! I Was told there would be a microwave in my room on the phone, there wasnt untill my 3rd day. The laundry facilityes were VERY dirty. My room was dirty as well with old furniture. There parking lot had so much trash it was attracting stray animals. the maids never changed my trash or towels, and only cleaned the flors for less than a minute. the lock on my first room did not work properly. the office only sometimes had an attendant, including during when they were supposed to have breakfast (there was never any). they were using a nearby restaurants wifi and calling it their own. it was only available in lobby (very small)

The bed collasped when I sat on it, My girlfriend kept checking for the dead body that the room smelled like it was hiding. When I complained to the front desk, the staff's ability to comprehend/ speak english disappeared as fast as any available rooms in better hotels, so we were forced to stick it out for the night.
Please pay the Higher Rate, DO NOT STAY HERE.... Posted: Tue, Jun 05 2007

Complaining to the owner/corporate office brought even less satisfaction....
Please DO NOT stay here, It is guarenteed to ruin any trip you have planned....
It is touted as a blight on the local community, and a favorite for ner-do-wells......
A Very Dissatisfied Veteran.......
