Horrible! Charge full price for a room with no water in the shower! Posted: Fri, Aug 24 2007

I booked this hotel because of my daughter's graduation from West Ga University. The hotel is in a rough part of town, adjacent to an old strip mall with boarded up and abandoned buildings. The room had old wrappers on the floor, the breakfast was skimpy, and the coffee, which we cannot take to our room tasted like mud. The worst part though, was trying to turn on the shower and the faucet falling into my hand. I got dressed and went to tell the owner/manager, Mr. Patel about the problem. He tried to fix it for about 10 minutes, when I finally told him I needed a key to another room to shower and get ready. All of this caused me to be late for the graduation. Upon checking out, I asked if he would allow me some compensation on my bill for my inconvenience, (running the hallways in my robe, packing up all my things, etc). He flately refused, saying I booked online and there was nothing he could do. Upon checking my receipt after departure, I noticed he even charged me a phone surcharge for using a phone I never touched. Over $80.for a room with no shower! A terrible mistake staying there, never again!
