We stayed at the Ephesus Boutique Hotel in May and it was probably the highlite of our trip to Turkey . The hotel is in a quiet village near Ephesus , has a great view down the valley and is very comfortable . We arrived late after a long day travelling and the wonderful manager prepared a great meal for us (Not sure where the other reviewer stayed , but this hotel has a very nice restaurant for guests). The manager was very friendly (but not overbearing ) . It was very interesting hearing from him about life in Turkey. After our next day at the Ephesus site, we were very happy to spend a quiet evening at dinner and relaxing at the hotel. This is not a hotel for someone looking for nightlife , but if you want a quiet peaceful comfortable room while touring the ruins , this is agreat choice,

We pre-booked a room at this "boutique hotel" and upon arrival were so disappointed that we did not stay there. Ephesus is a 20 minute drive away; the reference to Epheusus is a stretch. It is located in a very remote, tiny village which was not at all interesting. The hotel did not have a restaurant, and the village resturants did not appear to be appetizing for a number of reasons. We did not find this to be a reasonable situation. One does have to eat. And given the price and lack of amenities, this hotel was significantly over priced particularly for the local market. We cannot speak to the quality of service not having stayed there. The room was lovely, but bottom line, the remoteness of the hotel and lack of amenities compelled us to seek other lodging options.
