i stayed 2 nights in the Tria hotel and got it to be an exceptional value. It had the most comfortable bed i had ever slept in while vacationing in Turkey. the hotel is convenient, safe, really clean, cosy, and easily accessed.
Manager Sener is well versed in English did everything to ensure my stay would be memorable, Bellboy Tansel and other the hotel staff is courteous, very helpful, and enthusiastic. In a word, highly recommend the hotel at Sultanahmet!
Breakfast was better than most and had a good asortment of breads, jams, cheeses and meats. All in all the Tria Hotel was a really nice boutique hotel, so i would definitely stay again!!

Great things about the hotel:
* Beautiful fit out (compared to other hotels I've stayed in in Turkey in particular).
* Room was lovely (and brand new); shower and toilet worked well. Bed was more than king size (two singles together, but done very well - couldn't feel the seam).
* Breakfast was great - large range of foods to suit most tastes.
* Fantastic staff - allowed us to use their computer to access the Internet (to deal with urgent rebooking flights, trains etc, missed due to illness). Also allowed us to remain in our room until 3pm on checkout day (ie. until our transfer arrived) because I was recovering from illness.
Not great things:
* Rooms are smaller than would be expected in Western Countries, but that was standard across all Turkish hotels I stayed in. In fact, the room I had at Tria was by far the largest, particularly the bathroom.
I cannot comment on the surrounding area because I did not venture outside - it was just a place to spend the night - and a very comfortable one it was!
I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.
