The Marmara Pera is located in Beyoglu and has nice views to the old city and the sea. That's the good thing about it. We stayed for 3 nights and payed 180? per night without breakfast which was way too expensive for the quality of the rooms. The size and the ambience of the rooms are typical for a 3-star hotel with rate no more than 100 euros / night.

Nicely placed hotel, clean rooms, although a notch smaller than i expected. The hotel was built rather recently with a decent interior design. Liked: location, service (they brought in a basket of fruits since it was my birthday - nice touch), cleanness of rooms, breakfast Disliked: poor on amenities (no pool, spa, etc), rather pricey for what you get Don't be confused with Marmara hotel, which is 10-15 minutes away. Marmara Pera is a new addition to the Marmara collection. Would I stay here again? Well, I've booked Hyatt Regency for my next trip that starts tomorrow, so... and the price is almost the same. I will write a review about Hyatt after I return.

This was our 1st time at Pera Suites and 1st time using venere.com. Pera Suites is excellently located right behind the Marmara Pera hotel as indicated on venere and is real value for money. It is a short 2-3 minute walk up to Istiklal street and a mere 10-15 minute wak to Taksim square. The staff and the owner are extremely warm friendly people and they went out of their way to accomodate any request we had. The rooms were spacious, clean and immaculate and the bedding was comfy. The toliets were also spacious and well maintened my only slight grouse was that the water in the showere cubicle wasn't flowing out properly and the other thing was that the there is a fair amount of noise from the street that permeates through to the room. Also, the tv and cable gave us real trouble. Breakfast is not a buffet but they give you eggs made to order as well as the traditionaol turkish fare. On the whole defenite value for money for the business traveller of for anyone who is going to spend most of their time away from the room yet needs an easily accessible place which is neat and clean and well fitted out to return in the night to. overall 7.5/10
