Blue Hills Hotel is a new hotel in Sultanahmet, close to all main attractions of Istanbul. The rooms -ans bathroom- are clean and spacious, the breakfast is limited but adequate, and the value for money is great.

The rooms were nearly perfect, but the neighbourhood is a mess. We had quite a negative experience because on our first night we were told the hotel was overbooked, and we were housed in a small apartment block nearby. The rooms there were substandard (any standard), and to compensate for that we were offered a 40 % rebate on the hotel rate. We felt we had to accept this, for lack of alternatives, but we thought this horrible room should not have been charged for at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was insufficient, but that is not unusual in Istanbul.

The hotel deserves 3 stars. It is 10 minutes walking from the Blue Mosque. The jacuzzi didn't work. Breakfast is minimal.
