My bfriend and I stayed at the hotel, for 1 1/2 weeks, it was fabulous. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast menu, although it is a bit rowdy because you can hear your neighbor, the hotel was superbly clean, the staff was aamazing, and oh I miss those jams upstairs. I would KILL to have a taste of those again. Superb! Finally, there was amasjid across the street so we could hear the adhaan, call to prayer, every morning, and as a Muslim that was amazing peaceful and sweet. Although, we slept thru it. ;) Love Istanbul, the best city in the world!

I generaly wouldn't go for a Best Western in the US... however, this one is a jewel! Beautiful hotel, very classy, great location and best of all, the staff went out of their way to make sure the stay was comfortable and the visit to Istanbul was as rich as possible. The gentleman at the front desk, Ergin Akar, was professional, welcoming and full of fantastic recommendations on not only hotel services, but how to navigate the city / country. Big thanks!!! Our bartender and "hooka teacher", Mustafa Can, was equally amazing... and handsome too! :-) He always had night caps and great stories ready as we ended our sightseeing days. How wonderful to fly 6k miles and find a new friend! Overall travelers, this hotel is a great value and a pleasure to call a home away from home...

I was disappointed at the desk service at this hotel. On Saturday I found out that I had received an important phone call on Friday night. But the night clerk had told my caller that I was not in my room, though clearly I was there. When I asked about the phone call, the night clerk said, oh, I didn't see your name on the room roster! Since I was the only one checked in for that room, I did not understand how he could mistake the name. When I complained, I did not receive an appropriate apology, just a dismissal.

Very nice view, nice Rooms, in the middle of Istanbul. In case you are Turkish, you will be able to get a better price for the room. In case of a taxi try this: Taksim Place is on the other side of golden horn, in case you don?t need to go so far, it?s even cheaper. http://www.istanbul30.com/de/hilfe.html#5 (iii) Taxis stehen am Flughafen bereit. Handeln Sie den Fahrpreis vor der Fahrt aus! Die Fahrt bis ins Stadtzentrum, z. B. zum Taksim-Platz, sollte nicht mehr als 28 - 30 Neue T?rkische Lira (16 – 18 Euro) kosten. Die Nachttarife beinhalten einen Aufschlag von 50 Prozent.
