Travel information
From Ataturk Airport- When you leave the airport, look for the Sirkeci sign and turn right. Drive approximately 1km then follow the seaside road for 12 kms. Look for a Sultanahmet sign, turn left and drive 500 meters turn right. Follow the road until tram way. On the first traffic light turn left. Take the next street on the left site. After that take the next street on the left site again until you see the Ambassador Hotel sign.
You may also take the metro from the Ataturk Airport to Zeytinburnu (last station) and from there the tram directly to Sultanahmet. An Ambassador Hotel sign will guide you the last 200 meter.

The rooftop restaurant for breakfast has wonderful views and the staff was very accommodating throughout our stay. The front desk clerks were especially kind and helpful, the beds were always clean and comfortable.
Very central location for old town sights, the hotel lobby seemed attractive and the service not as slow. Nice beds and good breakfast. Overall an excellent choice.
The view from the rooftop terrace was excellent, the room on the top of the hotel was amazing and the staff was most helpful and friendly. The well provisioned breakfast buffet was very nice.
The bathroom was very small, the waiter said wasn't available.
The view from our breakfast table was amazing, the friendly hotel staff were great and the evening front desk attendant was absolutely wonderful. Moreover the rooms were very clean.
Bar has one of the best views of Istanbul, the hotel was excellent value for money and the staff was most helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean, the waiters in the terrace restaurant were very good too.
