I really don't know where to start...it was like a dream where I woke up in the ancient times. In verey step you take at the hotel, you face with a historical piece. It is so close, you can touch and feel it...the picture and ceramic collections in the hotel are woth to see. you do a historical sightseeing without going out. besides the words are not enough to describe the view of the terrace that the hotel has.
the firendly behaviour and qualified service of the staff just made my stay more unforgetable. Since my stay I have been recommending every frien of mine or should I say forcing them :)to see this marvellous hotel. I felt like a king in this old Byzantine palace of ancient centuries.
Great stay at the Eresin Crown Posted: Wed, Jul 02 2008 We stayed here for one night on June 10, 2008 prior to leaving for Bodrum for a boat cruise. The location is perfect: five minute walk to the Blue Mosque. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Our bags didn't make our flight from JFK and the manager took a personal interest in solving the problem - we did get them before catching our flight to Bodrum the next day. Our room was very spacious (and would have been even with our suitcases), very clean and comfortable and also very quiet. We would highly recommend the Eresin Crown as a great base of operations for touring Istanbul.
To add another note: breakfast was included in our rate and the terrace restaurant on the top had not only beautiful views of the Sea of Marmara in one direction and the Blue Mosque in the other, but the food was outstanding, too.
We would go back anytime.
I was on a short business trip and decided to stay overnight.
The hotel is really very nice. This is probably not a great brand name, but the hotel has the spirit of its own and the view from the window on a short street with the wall of the mosque and puerto rico internet club :) on the opposit was really touching.
The location is very convenient for sightseeing, both very close to Istanbul landmarks and in the same time away from tourist crowds.
Reception staff is very good, room attendants too. I would definetely recommend this hotel to others. And on top of that this is very good value for price.
A few min from Blue Mosque, hippodrome, Hagia Sophia, the staff, particularly Cetin Koca (front office mgr) is very resourceful and helpful. Hotel contains ancient artifacts found during its construction.
