Good hotel - with some (small) reservations

We (family including kids 7&10) enjoyed a week's holiday at this hotel.On the plus side the location was fantastic with great views from our rooms.The staff were helpful and polite and the food was good. On the negative side, and echoing the comments of others, the rooms were small and in need of updating and the bar prices,in particular for wine,were higher than we had expected. We also fell victim to the noise of music from the harbour on 2 nights which was well above that through which you could sleep - even with earplugs! In summary a 3* for the rooms,4* for the food and service and 5* for the views

Pretty hotel in great location - food rather disappointing

This pretty hotel is in a lovely setting and the staff are very pleasant. The rooms, however, could do with a bit of updating as the furniture is rather basic, the decor a little tatty and the air conditioning very noisy! On the plus side, the pool area is attractive and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Despite some of the issues mentioned above, I would happily return or recommend the Marina Residence to others if only dinner menu was Turkish! We stayed on a half board basis for two weeks and the evening menus were, without exception, really rather strange. We decided to eat elsewhere in Antalya on several evenings and found some really lovely Turkish restaurants nearby, so my advice would be to book only bed and breakfast. (Incidentally, they serve orange squash and NOT orange juice at breakfast - a great shame considering how inexpensive juice is in Turkey!)

Hard to find

Nicely renovated property in the old town with a great location. The rooms, however, are no more than a 3 star. A real turn-off was the large folded up-right poster on the counter that severely warned us to not bring any food or drinks into the room "for our own health and safety". What a rude welcome. The note continued to threaten to charge us 33% of the room bill which then would be donated to Turkish schools. The room itself was small and lacking a night stand on one side. The view was spectacular from the windows. There is no elevator so be ready to do some stepping. Breakfast was only OK. We were impressed by the complete frame of honeycomb on the table for you to scoop into the great yogurt. We probably won't stay here again because of the mean-spirited welcome. By the way ,we certainly did buy water and snacks and brought them to our room with no ill effects.

Hotel con gran encanto situado junto al puerto deportivo, en el corazón de la ciudad vieja. Los jardines, la piscina y las zonas comunes son muy agradables. En las habitaciones hay diferencias ; nosotros cogimos dos ; una de ellas muy amplia y luminosa , mientras que la otra era interior y un poco justa de espacio. En cualquier caso, buena relación calidad precio.
