This residence was originally built for wealthy merchants to receive their visitors, and a feeling of wonder and privilege is what seduces guests today. The hotel has a lovely garden, historical well and two courtyards (one with a pool). This unique setting gives the Sultan's Palace a romantic feel.

What Travellers Like

The rooms are clean and somewhat small if you take the standard, as we did (However the standard rooms are actually not alike, some are small some are bigger, some very dark especially the ones looking to the second courtyard, not the one with the pool). The serving personnel seem inexperienced, either indifferent to the guests or too friendly which is disturbing.. Read review

Lovely hotel, excellent staff and i booked for the beautiful pictures in the internet. Cheap restaurants.

Upon arrival into the old city, the pool was small.

A small swimming pool filling a large portion of the area and the Hotel is located in the middle of old souk of kaleici. So the rooms can get very hot during the day, simple - the dinner buffet is more varied.

Good location for staying in the center of the old city and stylish decor. The service was friendly, the buffet was like a large school canteen meal.

The room had no hot water, the pool that features in so many photos was so small.

Bars most of offer a great view across the sea and the hotel is situated in the middle of the old harbour. A friendly staff person eager to carry our bags to our two suites, dinner buffets are rich.
