What Travellers Like

  • The hotel is in the middle of nowhere which is lovely as you dont have any traffic noise apart from the occasional bus to and from the hotel. Topkapi palace is set on its own long strech of sandy beach with loads of water sports and a number of relaxing hammocks. The pool area is huge and the pools are lovely and well kept, there is a lot of plant life that makes it look that much more attractive, there are a hundreds of sunbeds that you need to get up for (but your on holiday whats the point of sleeping it away), There is a large, spacious and comfortable reception area with its own bar which is open all day and all night. There is a large water park area with about 6 slides including a doughnout slide, lazy river and a wave machine. The food in the restaurants was amazing, the amount of choice was great, in the outside dining area the chefs cooked the food whilst you waited. The waiters/esses were very good at their job and all the tables were clear and tidy, there was a large selections of fresh bread, including naan and pitta bread made to order. The pool bars offer freshly made, iced cocktails, beers spirits and other soft drinks. The bedrooms are light and spacious, All rooms have a large bathroom with sink, toilet, shower and bath.. • The staff are very welcoming and tend to your every need! The resturants are Great with a wide range of choice( even for those who are fussy) We had a family room which was lovely the family rooms are on the top floor, then within your room you have an internal staircase to a separate bedroom with twin beds and a shower room and tv and mini bar! The shows are very good thay even have professional dances.. Read review

  • On arrival our luggage was immediately taken from us and delivered promptly to our rooms. We had a duplex room which has 2 spacious bedrooms. Just off the hall was the main bathroom with bath and shower and all your shampoo shower gels and the likes provided for you. The bedroom was extremely large leading out onto a balcony. From the main hall there is a spiral staircase which leads to another bedroom with an ensuite for the children. There is no balcony in this room which is great if you have children for the safety aspect. Both rooms had TV's and fridges which were refilled daily and included in the price.. Read review

  • We booked our holiday with Thomas Cook and I have to say the service was not as good as we had hoped for. The only problem with the flight was the lack of leg room and we felt particularly cramped all through the four hour flight. You get a brilliant welcome at the Topkapi Palace; music starts playing as soon as you step off the bus and staff come round with Turkish snacks. We had two joining rooms in the hotel, one had two double beds and the other had a king size bed and a single bed. The rooms had a TV which had mostly Turkish channels except for British News Channels. There was also a free mini bar that had bottles of water, fizzy drinks and beer, this was really handy.. • I went to Topkapi Palace last year with my friend, her husband and 2 children , we found the service 5 star we was always looked after and the standards where very high, I have read some negative reviews regarding the animation team , however this was definately not my experience, they worked so hard day and night , never resting and put on fantastic shows , they mingled with guests and I really could not fault them, they made my holiday. The restaurants where great and we had no trouble booking into the restaurants although you do have to get up early and keep pressing re-dial. The rooms in the Kremlin where of a higher standard than Topkapi , but the staff and animation team where alot less friendly , and there did not seem to be that much entertainment, the vibe was totally different..
