Kahya Otel - Alanya, Turkey     

Me and my girlfriend have just returned from a weeks stay at the Kahya hotel and had a really good time, the Location is perfect and the beach is one of the best beaches i have been to, we spent alot of time lazing out on our lilos in the sea which is clear blue and clean, this was very convienient as the beach is direclty facing the hotel, there is plenty of shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel which we used to but alchohol and drink in our room before we went out clubbin which is a 10 minute walk up a busy lively road with alot of the public out and all shops open so you feel safe even at 11pm we returned back at around 3am and still felt safe as shops still open and everybody really friendly, although alot of the public found my girlfriend they just have polite comments like " your girlfriend is very pretty" which my gurl didnt mind lol. i am 21 and my gurlfriend is 19 and we had a really good time shopping is good if you like ALOT OF FAKES LOL, can come in handy for small presents!, Our room in the hotel was basic but very clean and we had our room cleaned every day we were there and towels was replaced everyday!, the food on the other hand wasnt very nice according to my girlfriend but i found it basic i enjoyed chips and chicken most days lol but if you arnt fond of the food plenty of restaaurants around also we found mcdonalds and burger king useful! we was half board so didnt mind about the food not being what we liked everyday as we had the choice of a cheap meal nearby!, we never really had problems with getting a sun lounger near the pool and enjoyed the slides and entertainment put on by the staff in the day!.... we didnt stay around at night as we preferred the clubs! Havanna club was one of our favourites and Robin hood bar was ok for a drink before you hit Havanna, as i said the walk is not far and is deffinatly not worth getting a taxi! (maybe if your old and dont like walking)... we took Turkish Lira and was fine with this although they do acceot euros everywhere so entirely up to you! cash machines all over if you want to take your visa debit!,.... the hotel is about a 2 hour transfer from the airport but was worth the drive and we enjoyed sight seeing on the way anyway!... we also done the boat trip which was good we paid ?22 sterling each with out hotel rep and we went across the green lake and the visted the waterfalls had lunch and went to the market!, the market wasnt that good and the best shops are surrounding the hotel on your walk up 2 the harbour!, everybody is friendly and theer was quiet alot of germans and dutch but there was also english was a big mix which is expected everyhwere you go we had no problems with anyone of the public! i would deffinalty advise this hotel for location,cleanliness and a good fun cheap holiday!.

Es war unser erster Urlaub in der Türkei und hatten gleich das Glück, einen hervorragenden Platz zu finden. Zwischen Alt und Neu waren wir mitten drin. Hotelzimmer waren nicht wie in Florida, aber das hat auch keiner von uns erwartet. Bedienung war super freundlich und Essen konnte man täglich neue Varianten wählen, und war schmackhaft. Am Ende wurde mein vergessenes Handy von dem Reinigungspersonal gefunden und hinterlegt, sodass ich es abholen lassen konnte. Danke dafür! Edith und Rüdiger
