The Cemar Beach Hotel on the road to Alanya has many problems. The cleaning staff washed our bathroom, which was very soiled from the previous guests, with only water. They said the hotel had not bought any detergents for them. There was vomit outside our room that was not cleaned up, even after we told the staff, and it was still there the next day. The air conditioning worked for an hour, then it never came on again, we believe they have it set to do this as other guests reported the same thing. They do not have vacuum cleaners for the threadbare carpets; travelers with young children take note. Even though the hotel has beach in its name; it does not have a beach; it’s a cement dock kind of thing with rocky sea bottom. The food was horrible; on a positive note: you will lose weight here through forced dieting. We fled the scene after 24hrs.
