Swissotel Le Concorde Bangkok - Bangkok, Thailand 

I booked a room on the club floor, when staying for a few days the free internet and free laundary really makes life a little easier, though I assume normal rooms are similar to clubs rooms in size and facilities, but you probably have to pay for internet and laundry. Rooms are well appointed and have some very sensible additions to make life easier. One thing I have never seen before was the recessed bed side light switch into the bed side table so you dont have to fumble around finding it - genious! Much easier than having to either reach over to the light itself or fumble with the wire. As with all Thai hotels the staff are very helpful, also the level of service is excellent. Food is OK. Breakfast is the normal fare and the room service is also good. Gym is OK, and pool is also nice. All in all good hotel and good stay. Would recommend if you are in this part of town (north) for business, but would normally suggest you stay a little nearer Suk if in town fo fun.

My wife and I stayed there for 10 days during the month of December. We had to move twice because of problems with the water and air conditioning. Regretably, our room was pre-paid so we could not ask for reffund. The front desk manager, Mr. Wurabut was not terribly concerned. I will not repeat at this hotel even though close to train station.
