The Shangri La is a beautiful, relaxing hotel in an excellent location for touring Chiang Mai. The rooms are very comfortable with good climate control and amenties. In additon, the spa, pool and dining areas are all very nice. The staff is gracious and the service is impeccable.. Read review

This hotel recently opened and the grounds are lovely, the rooms are very nice but they are asking way too much money for what they deliver. The pool and spa are both very nice.. Read review

The service quality is not up the SL standards yet however I can't blame them for not trying. The service is no as personalized as you would expect for 5stars but if you arent too into that stuff then its ok. The occupancy was about a 1/3 so staff is quite prevalent. The pool and cabana's are one of the best in the SL chain and. Location is close walking distance to the Night Bazarr and central within the city center but otherwise has an unimpresive location..
