There have been people who liked this hotel and people who hated this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a budget hotel but I found my room was clean and I did not find one single bug or any signs that there had been any bugs in the room. The aircondioner worked great and cooled the room down fairly quick. The hotel does not look that inviting from the outside but was very nice on the inside. The Sara Restuarant in the lobby was a nice place to eat, if you stick to Thai food, and the staff were very friendly. The manager is quite smart and could tell me more about American states than I could tell him, and I'm American! As other's have stated, it is close to the Grand Palace, Khoa San Road, the river and several temples. I'm not sure why others did not like this hotel, but it meet my criteria. It was clean, had a good airconditioner and was safe. If you need more than that, then don't stay in a budget hotel.
