Positives = 1) The hotel is in a residential area so it is extremely quiet at night time. 2) The bar next door is a nice place to grab a cocktail before heading into town. 3) The pizzeria next door has delicious pizza. 4) McDonald’s is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel. 5) The hotel beds are comfortable & the room/bathroom is clean. 6) There is a bus that stops in front of the hotel if you want a cheap ride into town.
Negatives = 1) The air-conditioning is more so opening a window as opposed to turning down a thermostat. 2) There isn’t any nightlife near the hotel. 3) The bar at the hotel closes extremely early!!! 4) The restaurant at the hotel was only open for breakfast.
Cool Tip >> If you want to tour the city ask an English speaking cab driver what his hourly rate is to take you around town --- should be around 25 euros an hour --- 8 of us did this and it was absolutely fabulous!!! No tour buses or long lines for us --- just a specialized tour for our group.
NOTE >> “True” nightlife only occurs on Friday and Saturday night so if you are looking for late night action plan you trip to Verona appropriately.

This is a business hotel designed to be used by people attending the exhibition centre nearby. For tourists wanting to visit Verona it is very poorly located. Although it may not appear far from town on a map it is much too far to walk (and I am a reasonably fit 40), and you would have to walk down a very busy dual carriageway and across some major motorway style junctions to get to town.
As there are no restaurants within walking distance (unless you count a couple of takeaway kebab shops), then you have no option but to go into town in the evening. The surrounding area of the hotel can best be described as industrial grim. I am sure that you are probably safe walking around at night, but I didn't fancy testing it.
The staff were not impolite, they were far from welcoming.
As mentioned in another review, the advertised free shuttle bus only operates in the summer (it had stopped by the 1st September) and also the free internet point mentioned in a previous review is now chargeable.
The breakfast could best be described as cheap, such as them using cheap juice and then watering it down and only putting out just enough food so that you needed to keep chasing the waitress to refill things
In summary, a very poor location, unwelcoming staff and a penny pinching attitude. Do not be seduced by the price, you can do far far better in Verona.
And finally, if for whatever reason you do decide to stay here, don't accept a room on the 4th floor. The un-carpeted staff quarters are above, and their movements will definitely disturb you.
