great hotel - said on website 15 mins from city cemtre. This is really not true. It was at least a 30 minute taxi ride which is very cheap in Thailand but can be a pain as the drivers like to take scenic route. Hotel itself very nice and clean, big rooms and very cheap. If you dont mind getting a cab each way then I would recommend. we tried walking it but got totally lost and gave up!!

Booked into this hotel for just one night, and found the staff rather rude and impolite. I found it extremely difficult to communicate with the receptionist as she spoke very little English. I paid for a Superior Queen Size room, and what i actually got was a standard double - when i requested a room change, they did not understand the problem so i had to stay in the room. Getting a taxi to the city is ok, but trying to get back to the hotel from around Siam was a complete nightmare. On one occasion, i asked 7 taxis to take me to the hotel and they all refused because of the location of the hotel. One driver was willing to take me but refused to use the meter - he wanted 1000 baht (whereas the meter price is only around 80 baht!!) Eventually i had to ask a police officer to stop a taxi and ask them to take me to the hotel!! Not very convenient at all... The swimming pool in the hotel was ok - apart from the building work that was going on during the pools opening hours, thus rendering the pool unusable. The location is good for the airport, but not too good for the city and there is no BTS around that area. The price is reasonable though, so I guess thats the selling point. I would highly recommend the Ibis Hotel in Siam which is a little more expensive, but fantastic location and located within a short walking distance to Victory Monument BTS station. In addition, I would strongly recommend this hotel to provide a shuttle bus to and from the city to live up to the 'customer service' standards they so proudly emphasise.
