5We stayed at The Landmark for 3 nights at the beginning of our honeymoon. As we were on honeymoon we were upgraded to a deluxe corner suite on the 18th floor which was massive with a huge bed, seating area and large well equiped bathroom. They also bought us a lovely chocolate cake and fruit which was a nice touch. Everything was spotless, not just in the room but throughout the hotel. We didn't see any stains on the carpets, but the lightshades throw shadows which could look like stains, but i can definitely say they weren't!
We went in some of the bars in the hotel, the one on the top floor is more pricey but you get a great view out over Bangkok, there's also a nice one in the reception area and the Huntsman Pub in the basement which was good for a few drinks after coming back at the end of the evening. There were alot of old European men with young Thai girls in there but i suppose that is to be expected as the Nana Entertainment Plaza is right around the corner.
The pool area was a decent size and great for a swim to cool down at the end of a day sightseeing. It never had anyone in when we went.
We found the hotel was in a good position to get around Bangkok as the Skytrain is close by and easy to use, the doorman will also get you a taxi if you want too.
All the staff were exceptionally friendly and polite and couldn't do enough for you, we would definitely return to Bangkok and to the Landmark.
