I stayed in the King Power for 4 nights recently so that I could see a bit of Bangkok on my way home from Phuket. The aim for my stay was to see as many of the sights in Bangkok as possible, and the King Power made this very easy by being so close to one of the Sky Train terminals (5 min walk from door-to-door). I had a bed and breakfast package which included 4 hours free wireless internet daily. The buffet breakfast was mega, and set me up for the day. Service within the hotel was excellent, and the people on the front desk were extremely helpful at all times. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

This is a very solid four and half star hotel in Bangkok. This hotel is located very close to the Victory Monument skytrain station; maybe a 5 minute walk or you can take the free tuk tuk ride to the station. The only problem is if you get back after 9pm you'll have to walk back to the hotel, but again, not a bad walk. The room design was very nice, great views, very comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms, and very comfortable all around. It would have been nice if the rooms had just a couple of extra sq meters of space, but for the price this hotel was a steal. The other things we liked about the hotel: pool, breakfast, service, location, executive lounge and the perks that were included with that, and the atmosphere of the hotel.
