Went to Portoroz on our Honeymoon and was pleased with our chosen destination. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were given a complementary bottle of local wine (very nice) which was a nice touch.
Hotel room was clean and spacious. However, it was rather noisy at night and we couldn't sleep properly until after 1am due to a local coverband playing the same songs every night over the road at a beach bar.
We have mixed opinions on the food, I am a strict veggie and I was very limited to what I could eat (mainly salads), however, there was a wider selection of meats and fish. The food and the service is not 4 Star, sometimes our drinks were not served until towards the end of our main course.
On booking this hotel we were under the impression the facilities, such as, health & beauty services, internet etc were on site, however, they are split between 3 hotels from the same chain. This was a little disappointing.
Overall, a nice hotel (unfortunately not what we would call 4 Star) and a nice place to visit.
