Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore - Singapore, Singapore 

my wife and i were not booked in till 1400hrs on the first day and understood this but we got a taxi from Changi Airport to the hotel, arriving at ten-thirty a.m. and were able to leave our cases with reception. As its quite central we were able to have a walk around and get something to eat. Booked in at 2.00pm showed to our room and the cases followed within minutes. Hotel is 27 levels, we were on the 17th with a great view over part of the city. Plenty of information in the room in booklet form, nicely stocked fridge, satellite telly/radio, complimentary tea/coffee etc which is re-stocked every day. Thankfully all rooms Non-Smoking in the hotel except for two floors and we were well away from them. The room / bathroom was very clean and again well stocked as regards soap, shampoo, towels, face cloths etc. The only dissapointment was that the shower was over the bath and not separate but hey...... Instant hot water every time, no waiting. Staff were very helpful at any time. We stayed for 18 days but only ate in the hotel six/seven times all but one was for breakfast which was Buffet style and very adaquate offering local dishes as well as full English for S$17.00 ( 3 $ to English Pound) We did dinner only once which was a meat and fish BBQ and a good selection of salads, pasta's, various veg and again local dishes. I think that was in the region of S$30.00. The bar on the gound floor was never packed or rowdy and there was live music every night.. All in all it was a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

This hotel is located "nowhere", hard to reach. the nearest mrt station is outram park station, from there you have to take a bus 970 or 35, or if you feel strong enough you can walk quite a disntance. staffs are friendly, the room is okay (deluxe), but it dont have bathtub, the room quite spacious and clean, the lobby and elevator are nice.
