Posted: Mar 26, 2011 - Stayed here on 2 night stopover on way to UK last month instead of Hong Kong or Bangkok We were upgraded to a 20th floor room with a massage chair (I loved it and used it every chance I got but my daughter thought it was too creepy). You can be in Somerset station within a minute of leaving the Hotel. The Singapore Tourist Office is in the street behind the hotel and is a pick up stop for the Hippo Hop Off Hop On double decker bus tours (Sing$23) which will take you to Little India, Suntec City shopping centre etc and I thought, good value, convenient and made getting around easy. Have to agree with others about the high cost of using the computer supplied in the room. To fill in time after checkout and before the shuttle arrived at 7 pm we walked 50 metres to the nearby Centrepoint shopping centre and entertained ourselves in airconditioned comfort. We also took advantage of the Hotel's complimentary room to have another shower and really appreciated this facility.. Read review
