Read previous reviews but had already booked so hoped for the best and pleasantly surprised. We were only there one night, didn't notice any smoke smells in the room. Breakfast was a good feed. Access to MRT station was convenient so quite happy to stay there again. Malcolm

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of the Singapore Airlines package. The room was nice and spacious, we had only booked a double with a baby cot for our daughter, but they gave us a family room with a queen and single bed. So that was a nice surprise. Our room was right next door to the elevator but we didn't hear anything at night time to annoy us. Not much noise in general either as others have commented on. They were very welcoming regarding a late checkout, we stayed in the room till at least 3pm, then stored our luggage, and we then had a swim and shower before leaving at 8.30pm. Novena MRT station is very close as are 2 reasonable sized shopping malls.
