The phone conversation mentioned tax extra (which wasnt charged). The room was small but clean and comfortable. Reception were very friendly and there was a happy atmosphere with a number of Asian tour groups coming and going. The location is excellent - close to cultural historic areas, Orchard Road and both City Hall and Bugis MRT, Orchard Road, Little India an easy walk.. Read review

90sgd thru a booking agent that was a "pay to hotel". 2nd, the neighboorhood is quite nice, its right next to churches, museums and a few eateries and is only 5-10mins away from big malls, mrt station and a cinema. 1st world people having problems with the room as you would probably have nicer bedrooms than this hehehe. 14", with cable channels (hbo + espn only) and some local channels.. For the price we paid and the lobby looked pleasant enough too. This hotel needs a quick refurbishment and the staff were helpful. Concierge was courteous.
