i had a single room without window: the room & the bathroom was small but clean and silent. The window missed me but if you don t pretend a lot it s ok. The WI FI internet was available 24/24 FOR FREE. Breakfast (self service) was ok. The staff ok. I can freely reccomend this hotel. Surely, if you are looking for a 5 - stars hotel simply keep away. The pics on their web site fully rappresent the hotel. Have a look ! Enjoy Stockholm !

Ho alloggiato all'Alexandra Hotel per quattro notti dal 10 al 14 gennaio 2008. L'albergo si trova in zona Södermalm (quartiere pieno di ristoranti, locali, pub, negozi) a 100 metri dalla fermata dell'autobus 55 che porta in centro e a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione della metro Medborgarplatse (da cui si va ovunque, ed in centro in 5 minuti). Contrariamente a molte recensioni negative lette su tripadvisor (probabilmente risalenti al periodo antecedente la ristrutturazione) mi sono trovata benissimo: camera pulitissima, spaziosa (anche il bagno lo era), ben arredata (c'è anche il frigobar in cui - volendo- si possono mettere bevande proprie), reception 24/24 con personale gentilissimo, ottima colazione: molto abbondante (succhi di frutta, yogurt , pane, cereali e marmellate di tutti i tipi, latte, caffè e the in abbondanza, uova prosciutto salame, pomodori, peperoni, frutta ecc) e con orari comodissimi (7-10 i feriali, 8-11 la domenica). La nostra camera era a livello strada, ma molto silenziosa. L'albergo dispone di wifi gratuito e di una sauna di cui però non ho utilizzato. Io ho usufruito di una tariffa scontata tramite expedia, ed il rapporto qualità/prezzo è stato eccezionale. Lo consiglio caldamente.
