Scandic Ariadne Hotel has a very convenient location, when travelling by ferry (Silja Line) from Finland. A metro station is within walking distance. The hotel rooms have been redecorated a few years ago and are pretty spacious and bright. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and pretty big. The breakfast is excellent. A large buffet with a varied selection. Overall Ariadne is a very typical Scandic-hotel, you know what you are going to get.

I can recommend this hotel because of the friendly atmosphere and the location close to the water. Walking distance to the subway. Beside the hotel the ferry terminal to Finland is located (Silja Line)

"Good Hotel"

The hotel is modern, personnel at the reception exceptionally friendly and efficient. You should be aware that this hotel is ideal if you want to be close to the Helsinki and Talinn ferries. For sightseeing in Stockholm, the hotel is fine but not ideal. Overall the hotel is not too bad. Make sure you get a room with sea view. Then you can sit in your bed and watch the ferries coming in in the morning. Though being situated in an almost industrial zone, the hotel is very quiet. You have complimentary acccess to a small sauna and there is a small shop and cafe in the lobby.
