Clarion Collection Hotel Victoria - Jonkoping, Sweden 

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. You wont be disappointed at this hotel as it offers exactly what you could expect. Nice clean room (had a mini suite) with airconditioning, minibar, PC hook up in room and cable satelite TV. Nothing spectaclurar but really good. Very nice relax area, jacuzzi, sauna and free light beer. Hotel is located in the center of Jonkoping a short stroll (5mins slow walk) from shopping streets (its really not a big town). They offer a garage with limited space at a fee, think was 85 SEK a day when i stayed. The buffet breakfast is good with a wide selection of food and beverages. If you are here on business youll probably enjoy the free evenning buffet thats included in the roomrate. The free evening buffet isnt a 300 EUR dinner but its average food free of charge. If your travlling to Jonkoping i think this is one of the best places you can stay.

In August, my wife and I spent a lovely week at the Comfort Home Hotel Victoria in Jonkoping. We have found that Swedish accomodations are different from American. The furnishings, bedding The food, however, is unbeatable, and this hotel provides a wonderful buffet that includes black currant juice the typical Swedish breads, cheese and sliced meats, plus typical American fare. Laundry service is available and inexpensive, but you will have to "fold your own". The hotel is aren't elegant, but always clean and comfortable. conveniently located in the heart of the city, so bus and train transport is an easy walk. Likewise, car rental is available within a couple blocks of the hotel-and car rentals are convenient and cheap. The staff was accomodating in every way. Jonkoping is a charming city and when we return, it will be to the Comfort Hotel. When you go-try the cloudberry ice cream, and bring me back a jar of cloudberry jam. Harry Hammond
