Clarion Hotel Gillet - Uppsala, Sweden 

When we decided to spend a night in Uppsala as tourists, not on business, we found the choice of hotels to be rather limited. Hence we spent the night at the Clarion Hotel Gillet. The hotel is fine: It offers the standard accommodations and services expected at a chain business hotel, but does not stand out in any way. One word of caution for those traveling with cars: The street in front of the hotel has just been closed off and torn up for reconstruction that is expected to take up to a year. Getting to the parking garage next to the hotel proved really frustrating, especially in heavy, late afternoon traffic. If you have a car, I would advise going elsewhere until the construction is complete.

good location. just few minutes from main street and can take walk from station. room and bathroom was clean and nice. i liked that there is caffee and tee at room. you also can get caffee and tee at first floor. breakfast was good.
