great hotel, bad service

The hotel was very nice with clean rooms, baths and a great breakfast. However, we found the service to be poor for the following reasons: - no smiles at the front desk and they made mistakes in terms of our reservations; - we stopped our car in front of the hotel and my wife and I had to bring all our 3 suitcases in the lobby while 3 guys (employees) were looking at us; - we asked one employee to take a picture of us and our Romanian friends in front of the hotel and he flatly refused us - that was not his job...I wonder what his job was because he was just standing in front of the hotel entrance doing nothing; - parking is the most expensive one in Bucharest. You can't get free parking as a guest and you can't buy a permit for 2-3 days - every time you drive out of the parking lot, you pay by the hour. If you make 2-3 trips, it represents a lot more than if you paid by the day. Again, the hotel is nice, but those little things really bothred me. No repeat for us.

Better than average for Bucharest hotels, prime location and friendly staff. Good value for money.

Our family was really pleased with this hotel. It was delightful from the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The staff was really fantastic, very efficient and even suggested restaurants and other places to visit. The price was almost like a bargain! We only paid a little over 100$ for a night. Breakfast was always good. Should we recommend this hotel? Absolutely.
